for investment requirements
For investors, you must be an institutional investor or individual accredited investor meeting the net worth requirements, or seeking to become accredited to participate in investing in any film or television production that RoadShow evaluates. You must be able to commit to a minimum investment of $100,000. which may be invested within a twelve (12) month period. Investors will be allowed to opt out of the production and receive their pro rated share of their investment based on the published value of the project's shares at the end of each reporting period. RoadShow Management Partners™ will not recommend investing more than a total of $2,000,000 in a single project unless approved by a two thirds majority of the investors that are fully invested. RoadShow will receive a administrative fee of 2% of the the monies invested and 50% of the net profits after investors have recouped 130% of their investment after year three.
Investors are advised that they will enter into investment agreements with producers where investors receive "first rights" to payment or "above the line" returns along with the Producer and Marketing firm, but before all other expenses "below the line" are paid. In addition,RMP will hold 20% of the equity of the fund, but investors will continue to receive income from film residuals for life of the project which is typically 10 to 15 years or longer.
For producers, we are seeking to evaluate film and television projects between the $500,000 to $5,000,000 range, but may co-invest a greater amount for film and television projects up to $8,000,000. Such larger projects would be approved by two thirds of the investors based on receiving an acceptable term sheet and full prospectus to the Board of Advisors of RoadShow Management Partners™ LLC.
